I'm doing this '365' thingy, have been since March 2011, and try to participate in the themes to keep the creativity flowing. This month's theme is to create a rainbow in the thumbnail calender view, hence Friday shots are blue.
And I've always wanted to do a really good star trail shot. (With the right exposure the sky can look blue rather than black, hence it meets the theme.)
The sky is due to be clear tonight, so whoo hoo!
The trouble is, I live on a main road, so there's a lot of ambient light.
So the question is, do I really want to hoik myself out of the comfort of my warm house to stand in the middle of a park, taking multiple long exposures, probably being mugged by random dogs out for their nightly walk.... or do I just pour myself a glass of wine and say "I'll do it another day".
Time will tell!
